This position is located at the Maternal Fetal Health Clinic located at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. The person in this position performs sonographic examinations, obtains clinical history, and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis. Is credentialed in a minimum of one specialty: abdominal/OB preferred.

Full-Time, Day Shift, FTE 1.0, 8/40.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Completion of an AMA accredited ultrasound program (minimum one year in length) or a minimum of an Associate Degree in a related health care field with credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Experience: Two years general sonography in abdomen, OB/Gyn.
Licensure/Certification: Registry credentials with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of the Abdominal specialty, with OB/Gyn preferred. Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Other Qualifications: Schedule varies to meet department needs. First Trimester Screening experience preferred.
Attendance: Regular attendance is a requirement of this position.
English Language: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
