The pediatric echo lab at Arizona Pediatric Cardiology Consultants in Phoenix, Arizona is looking for a skilled pediatric cardiac sonographer to join our team.  We are a busy lab performing over 13,000 transthoracic echocardiograms (in including pediatric, adult congenital heart disease, heart transplant/heart failure patients) with 900 of them being fetal echo studies a year and growing.  We are accredited by IAC in transthoracic and fetal echocardiography.  This position includes performing all aspects of pediatric, adult congenital heart disease, heart transplant/heart failure echocardiographic imaging for clinical purposes.  In addition, the incumbent will create the report, provide education and training for residents and/or students. 

We have the latest technology in our laboratory including state of the art echo machines with multiple vendors, a supine exercise bike echo stress laboratory, 3D TTE probes, 3D analysis software, and utilization of current techniques.

This is a full time position with some traveling involved.  Salary will be depend on experience.  Benefits include health, vision and dental insurance as well as paid time off (PTO).

Completion of an cardiac ultrasound program is required. Minimum two years experience performing pediatric cardiac ultrasound in a tertiary care center for congenital heart disease. Some degree of fetal echo experience is preferred but not required. ARDMS registry preferred. Must be able to work independently and perform complete technical studies.
