Women's Health Practitioner - OB/GYN
MIT Medical seeks a women's health practitioner, OB/GYN, to direct patient care to women of all ages for outpatient gynecologic and routine obstetrical/postpartum patients. Will work closely with supervising physicians and support staff in creating a team approach to women's health care. Will perform wellness exams, contraceptive counseling and procedures, minor office GYN procedures, and routine prenatal care. Will also be responsible for ordering, interpreting, and communicating test results. Will also be required to serve on designated committees.
Requirements: A master's degree; at least five years of women's health experience (including outpatient obstetrical experience) in a relevant age-specific ambulatory setting; current MA license, DEA, and CPR certifications; strong clinical skills; and good EMR/computer skills. Experience doing office-based procedures strongly preferred. A women's health nurse practitioner or certified nurse midwife is also preferred. Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Schedule to be determined but will involve working four or five days per week.
