CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW) is a new pediatric hospital opening January 2018 in Springdale, Arkansas. A part of Arkansas Children’s statewide network of care and sister hospital to Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) located in Little Rock, ACNW is seeking a highly qualified physician leader to serve as the inaugural Chief Medical Officer of Arkansas Children’s Northwest.
Potential Candidates will hold a MD or DO degree and be board certified in pediatrics or a pediatric medical or surgical subspecialty. Successful candidates will have proven leadership and administrative experience in planning, directing, implementing, coordinating and improving services and clinical operations. The CMO will provide day to day leadership and oversight for medical services and will work directly with clinical departments and hospital administration in program development, program growth and strategic and operational goal setting and implementation.
The new Arkansas Children’s Northwest hospital will bring around-the-clock pediatric subspecialty care to the fastest growing part of the state. This project will advance pediatric healthcare in the region and provide care close to home for the more than 200,000 children who live here. The hospital sits on a 37 acre campus located in Springdale, Arkansas and will be a full service community pediatric hospital. The facility will include 24 inpatient beds, a large ED with 30 exam rooms, 5 operating room suites, a clinic floor with general and subspecialty clinics, and full service diagnostic and radiology services.
